Tarot cards have long been associated with fortune-telling and predictions. However, our intention is to harness the imagery and symbolism of the cards in a different way. By focusing on daily reflection, we aim to provide a source of inspiration and self-discovery. This approach allows for a more personal and introspective experience with the cards. The goal is to create a space that is useful for engaging in mindful practice.
Exploring Tarot can be a deeply introspective experience. Remember to approach the cards with an open mind and a willingness to self-reflect.
Tips for using Tarot as a daily mindfulness tool:
Choose a favorite Tarot Deck and store it somewhere that is often visible and easily accessible, this way it will act as an anchor, reminding you to stay grounded and present throughout your day.
If you have room in your home, you may enjoy creating a small space for your daily Tarot ritual, such as a desk or table that holds your cards and supporting items such as candles, crystals, incense, pictures, ornaments, or books. Make it beautiful and meaningful for you.
In order to increase the chances that you will follow through with a daily practice, link it to an activity that you already do daily. For example, I use my morning cup of coffee as my cue. I pour a coffee, draw my daily card and reflect. I use this time to set my intentions for the day, on a calm and focused path. You may choose morning, evening, or whatever works best for you, such as upon waking, during lunch break, after work, bedtime or on a daily train commute. You can draw a card digitally or use your favorite pocket deck and utilize the travel time to meditate and practice staying focused and grounded amid distractions.
Draw your card, and consider the imagery and symbols carefully. Think about how the card feels and how it relates to your thoughts, emotions or situation. Allowing it to spark your intuition. By focusing on the present moment and observing your reactions, you can cultivate greater self-awareness. Embrace the cards as a gentle guide on your journey of mindfulness.

Daily Tarot Card
This site is based on the cards of the iconic Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot deck created by illustrator Pamela Colman Smith, under the guidance of British scholarly mystic, Arthur Edward Waite. The cards were originally published by the Rider Company in 1909. The RWS deck is my favorite, it has been re-printed and used around the world for over 100 years. There is something timeless and enigmatic about Pamela’s drawings, and although many other decks have been created, none have endured with such great popularity as hers. It’s still in print today.

Why read Tarot cards?
Reading tarot cards can be a powerful and therapeutic experience. The cards can provide valuable insight into your situation and guidance on how to fine tune your life. Card reading can be considered a form of meditation, or used as a tool to develop trust in your intuition.
Tarot readings are more than just predictions of the future. They help empower the person receiving the reading by supporting their instincts. They can provide new insight into a situation- which spurs clarity of thought or awareness, that could lead to feeling less troubled in those circumstances.
