I am using the Stranger Things Tarot deck I just received for Christmas. It feels perfect for this reading, especially with the strands of Christmas lights as a suit, and the final episode having being released on new years eve, if you are following it.

The overall feeling is that, as we leave behind 2025 we should also leave behind any tendency towards feelings of desperation and trying to fix or solve things, instead placing our focus on our desired outcomes. We can do this by letting go of our fear.
You may have been working in a frantic sort of way using very masculine energy to solve problems. The challenge is to take a time out from this labouring to fix things and instead place your focus on your dreams. Embrace your strengths and skills and joy, to flow gracefully towards your desires. Immense strength lies in the feminine energy of the Empress, and by embracing this, you will stop at nothing to see that everything and everyone is taken care of.
The only thing you really need to overcome is fear. Weakness is almost aways rooted in fear. As difficult as it may be, by facing our fears we will emerge stronger and more resilient. Once these fears have been released we will become open to new opportunities and new horizons that we have previously been unable to see.
By embracing these concepts of letting go of desperation and struggle, moving towards the things we desire, and facing fears that are holding us back. We can expect to witness a Tower event in the New Year. A collapse of outdated systems than no longer work for us, and the opening up of something new, and yet unknown.

Card 3: Strengths to lean on.
The Empress - Nothing is more powerful than a mothers love. The strength you can lean on is your own nurturing ability. Take care of yourself as you care for others. You have the ability to protect yourself your family and those around you.
Card 4: Weaknesses.
IX of Strands - Don’t allow challenges to get you down. Keep your head in the game when facing obstacles, each time you prevail you will emerge stronger, wiser and more resilient. Think of each difficulty as an opportunity for growth.
Card 5: Opportunities for growth.
IX of Spokes - Sweet anticipation. Remember the lesson of letting go, allowing space for new growth and opportunities. Something better is on its way, the thing you have been waiting for. Reward yourself for your hard work and dedication to your goal.

The Tower - Some forces can not be contained. If it feels like things are falling apart, just remember that the collapse of the old is required to create space for change.
