Tarot Card of The Day

Strength

Tarot Card of The Day: Strength

Deck used: Radiant Wise Spirit

Take a moment to consider how the Strength card fits into your experience. Is there something you need to do that is testing your strength? Physically, mentally, emotionally? Strength asks the question, “how can you navigate this situation with grace and ease?” What strengths do you embody, which you can use to your advantage in working towards achieving your goals?

Strength is one of my favorite cards for two reasons, one is the theme of it, finding inner strength, figuring out a way to gracefully navigating life’s challenges with ease. The second reason I love this card, (The RWS version) is the beautiful imagery. I feel that Pamela really outdid herself on this beautiful illustration. The lines are so elegant, the feeling of strength is portrayed so delicately. This is a kind and gentle strength. A feminine strength, growing from wisdom and fortitude and perseverance, not through violence or brute force.

The Strength card has a strong message for me, as well as for anyone else who may be reading this. This one feels literal and visceral. I can feel my hands on the jaw of the lion. Holding strong.

Feel yourself in the image. Feel the jaws of the lion. Anyone with a dog may relate to this physical struggle with a beast, that cannot be won through physical force. What needs to be applied is calm. Share your calm with the beast, to sooth a difficult situation.

It sends a message to me about ease. That life is not meant to be a struggle. If life feels like a struggle then its time to step back and reconsider our actions, our thoughts, our beliefs, our situation. And find a way through challenges that feels empowering and victorious. Rather than like hardship, difficulty, defeat or despair. Sometimes this can be achieved through simply practicing gratitude or by re-framing the situation.

Today, I see The Lion as a wild opposing force that needs to be tamed. And myself as the lion tamer. I will embody the essence of the strength card and navigate this wild beast with grace and ease. Because I can. If I am willing to see a way. Instead of focusing on the challenge, or the difficulty, or letting myself slip into unproductive thoughts that will derail me from my goal. I will allow myself to find a positive way through. You can too.

You can visit the previous post on Strength if you are interested in a more traditional reading of the card.

And as always, Have a Beautiful Day.

Today, take a moment to connect with the energy of the Strength card. Meditate on the image of the woman and the lion, embodying the harmony of strength and gentleness. Allow this archetype to infuse your spirit with the confidence and resilience needed to navigate life's challenges.

The Fool

The Fool: Tarot Card of the Day

When The Fool dances into our lives, it carries a message of unlimited potential and untapped opportunities. Ten of Swords

Tarot Card of the Day - The Ten of Swords

Ten of Swords Sci-fi-Tarot

The Ten of Swords from Todd Alcott's Sci-Fi Tarot

Today’s card is drawn from the Sci-Fi Tarot by The Unemployed Philosophers Guild

The Ten of Swords is perhaps the most frightening card in the deck. It implies some sort of metaphorical death. This is not a peaceful death, but one that is violent and shocking. This card most likely brings up emotions that are less than pleasant, and maybe even a bit traumatizing, but it holds a silver lining.

The message coming through this card is to embrace this ending. Not to embrace literal death, but to embrace the end of something that feels like death. Accepting your fate, or undesirable situation, can signal the end of your suffering, the end of negative thinking, the end of looping in spirals of your own trauma. All you need to do is discover a new way of seeing your situation, a rebirth of sorts, and to understand that it is up to you alone. No one is coming to save you!

You must find a way to lift yourself out of your agony and find joy beyond the pain.

The underlying message in this card is that recovery is not only possible, but inevitable. Relief is waiting around the corner whenever you are ready and willing to seek it out, and personal growth is the undeniable outcome once you embrace that you have finally hit some sort of rock bottom, and decide to go the only way left. Up.

It is interesting to note that the tarot has a card called Death, but Death does not necessarily mean death, while the Ten of Swords does actually mean death, and is one of the few tarot cards, like The Tower, that truly means bad news for the querent. While the Ten of Swords may not call for an actual death, it is certainly the death of a cherished or important idea, or the death of a way of life, or perhaps even a closing of the mind.

Ten of Swords Rider Waite Tarot

A figure lies face down on the ground with ten swords thrust into their back. The sky is black, but dawn breaks on the horizon. a pale sun rising over dark mountains, the sea laps calmly below. The image is stark and dramatic. This card signifies the absolute end of a painful chapter and the first hint of a new day.

Something has reached its inevitable conclusion and it may feel painful. This can be the culmination of a long, difficult cycle a project, relationship, pattern, or belief. You may have experienced betrayal, failure, collapse or humiliation. It feels final and overwhelming.

Though these emotions feel harsh, this card asks you to let go. When the worst has already happened, and there is no where else to go, you may find relief as the situation gives you permission to stop fighting and to simply accept what is.

The rising sun signals that after devastation comes the possibility of recovery and renewal.

Guidance from the Ten of Swords

Name your emotions and give them space, this is often the first step toward regeneration.

Stop blaming and take back your power. Accept and release the things you can’t control. Ten of Swords highlights that while damage has been done, blaming yourself or others endlessly won’t fix anything.

Seek healing and support by reaching out to friends, a counsellor, or a healer to process what happened and to find practical steps for recovery. Focus on self-care, sleep, nourishment, routine. Rebuilding starts with stabilising your foundation.

Release what’s finished. Rituals of letting go such as journaling, symbolic burning, or a physical clearing can help mark this transition and free energy for new beginnings. Affirmation “This is the end of pain. I grieve, I heal, and I step into a new morning.”

The worst is over, now healing can begin.

When the 10 of Swords appears in a reading

  • In a love reading: A relationship may have ended or reached an unavoidable breaking point. It can indicate betrayal or the final end of repeated hurt.

  • In work/career: A job loss, project failure, or professional betrayal. Although devastating, it clears the way for new directions.

  • In personal growth: Confrontation with uncomfortable truth that forces transformation. The card can be harsh but ultimately liberating.

Ten of Swords is certainly dramatic, but ultimately compassionate in its honesty. It doesn’t sugar-coat the fall, it allows you to acknowledge your pain, but also points to dawn. Treat this card as an invitation to accept what’s done, rest, and begin the slow, steady work of rebuilding.

The Tree of Life in the 10 of Pentacles

The Ten of Pentacles is rich with symbolism and meanings, and it presents a connection to the Kabbalistic Tree of Life.

Daily Tarot Draw
The High Priestess

Tarot Card of the Day: The High Priestess

Deck used: Radiant Wise Spirit

Today's draw is my favorite card, The High Priestess. The card depicts a serene woman seated in front of a thin veil, adorned with pomegranates. These are a symbol of fertility and creative potential. The veil represents the threshold, which separates the conscious mind from the watery depths of the unconscious.

The High Priestess symbolizes intuition, and the mysteries of the universe.
Her message is this:

You have the ability to draw from the pool of infinite wisdom if you are willing to clear your mind and allow source to flow through you.

Today is a day to slow down, reflect, and connect with your inner self. The High Priestess suggests that there is much to be gained by embracing silence and stillness. By doing so, you open yourself up to hearing the whispers of your subconscious and understanding your own truths.

The High Priestess invites us to embrace our feminine energy. I mean this purely from the energetic perspective, regardless of your gender. Masculine energy is action oriented, the energy of controlling outcomes and getting things done. Feminine energy is the energy of flowing and acceptance of circumstance. It reminds us that there is great power in intuition, empathy, and emotional intelligence. By embracing these qualities, we can connect more deeply with others and navigate our path with grace and wisdom.

Today may hold hidden knowledge or secrets waiting to be revealed. The High Priestess encourages you to trust your instincts and pay attention to the subtle cues that are guiding you. She may be asking you to dive deeper into your dreams, your intuition, or to seek out spiritual insights or knowledge.

Card Meaning
The High Priestess encourages you to explore your inner world and to trust in your intuition. This card reminds us that answers lie within ourselves and that we always have access to this deep, intuitive wisdom if we are open to receiving it. It is a reminder to tap into our subconscious mind and listen to the messages it provides.

The High Priestess encourages us to trust ourselves and honor our intuition. By doing so, we open ourselves up to a world filled with wisdom, possibility, and inner growth.

6 of Pentacles

6 of Pentacles: Tarot Card of the Day

Deck used: Radiant Wise Spirit

The Tarot card drawn for today is the 6 of Pentacles, which brings forth the energy of generosity, sharing, and balance. The appearance of this card suggests that a significant aspect of our focus today should be on acts of giving and receiving.

In our fast-paced and often self-centered world, the 6 of Pentacles acts as a reminder to cultivate a sense of compassion and empathy towards others. It urges us to consider how we can extend a helping hand to those around us who may be in need. This could manifest in various forms—through offering practical assistance, lending a listening ear, or simply spreading kindness and understanding.

6 of Pentacles also highlights the importance of balance in our relationships and interactions. It reminds us that true harmony can only be achieved when there is an equitable exchange of energy and resources.

Today, we are encouraged to examine the give-and-take dynamics in our personal and professional relationships. Are we being overly reliant on others, or are we neglecting to recognize their contributions? Have we been taking more than we give, or maybe we are giving too much without receiving anything in return? Finding that middle ground is key.

6 of pentacles daily card

This card also reminds us of the significance of gratitude. As we engage in acts of giving, we should also openly receive the gifts and support that others offer us. The ability to receive graciously not only nurtures our own well-being but also allows others the opportunity to experience the joy of giving.

In summary, the 6 of Pentacles serves as a valuable lesson today. It encourages us to be mindful of the needs of those around us and to proactively seek ways to support and uplift them. Through acts of generosity and balanced exchanges, we can create a harmonious flow of energy in our lives and foster stronger connections with others. Remember, giving and receiving are interconnected, and by embracing this dynamic, we can cultivate a sense of abundance and balance that resonates throughout our day.
